On the third Wednesday of the month our club holds its competitions. These competitions are judged by three individuals who are not members of the Greater Bridgeport Camera Club. Their aim is to provide positive feedback to our members with constructive comments on ways to improve the image being judged.

There are two categories for prints: color and black & white. Prints are judged in two divisions (A & AA) based upon skill level. A maker can enter two prints in color and two in B&W. Prints are judged monthly. These prints can be made digitally, developed in a darkroom or commercially printed.

Digital competition is offered in two categories - "Regular" (B, A & AA), and "Altered Reality" (one division. A maker can enter two images into regular, and two images into creative. These are also judged monthly.
